Ready to Join?
Joining is a great way for younger skaters to grow their skating skills, develop lasting friendships and experience all that U.S. Figure Skating has to offer and for older skaters to try something new or to continue their skating journey! Northern Blades welcomes all skaters, from recreational to competitive and adult; as well as former skater members and skaters heading off to college! For those former Club skaters heading to college, Northern Blades will pay for your collegiate membership as a benefit for continuing your love of skating while pursuing your education, which is good for 4 years! Are you a former Northern Blades' skater or collegiate member and would like to continue to be involved in the Club? If so, we encourage you to join as an Alumni member! If you are a Coach and our looking for a new home, please consider joining! Coaches who already have a home club or are independent members of U.S. Figure Skating, are also welcome to join as Associate Club Coaches. We provide opportunities to not only excel your skating career but also to have fun doing it! The Club does not offer Learn to Skate lessons or any other group lessons. Most of our skaters have already progressed thru NSC's Learn to Skate program and our working directly with a Coach to further their skating skills. If your skater is interested in learning to skate or group lessons, please check out NSC's website, https://www.nscsports.org/learntoskate for more information!
Our season begins July 1st and runs thru June 30th each year. Skaters are welcome to join any time during the season, but, we encourage joining in June so that members can take advantage of all of the benefits of being in the Club. Click on the applicable button below to access the appropriate membership application.
Due to COVID-19, Northern Blades NSC Figure Skating Club has elected to reduce our dues for the 2020/21 season by 50%. In addition, we are also offering a deferment option that will allow applicants to defer their dues payment for 60 days. Dues checks will still be required with your membership paperwork and you must select the deferment option and post-date your dues check to 8/15/2020. If you have any questions, you can contact Tania Uhde at firstname.lastname@example.org
